Abstract. Hydrographic data were recorded with various instruments (SBE CTD 911+, SST - MSS90 profiler, RDI VMADCP-OS75, thermosalinograph) data during RV SONNE cruise SO296/2, which took place in the Golfo Almirante Montt (Chile) between February 3rd and 8th 2023. The aim of the investigations of the project MAPUCHE was to gain a comprehensive understanding of recent and past biogeochemical processes in the fjord by combining biogeochemical, oceanographic, and paleo-oceanographic investigations. The oceanographic investigations were performed to gather information about the stratification, dynamics and mixing of water masses in the semi-enclosed fjord system. The data are provided as a collection of files for the particular instruments. CTD and MSS data are given as vertical profiles. Surface temperatures and salinity as well as meteorological data are provided as time series of 30 minutes averages. ADCP current and backscatter data are formatted as two-dimensional grid files.
